PT Long Rich Indonesia

HIJAU has partnered with PT Long Rich Indonesia, a footwear manufacturer based in Cirebon, West Java. Initiated in 2025, the project supports the company's efforts to enhance energy efficiency throughout its production facilities.

PT Long Rich Indonesia's rooftop and canopy solar PV installation has a total capacity of 2,560 kWp. Based on detailed energy assessments and thorough calculations, HIJAU designed the system to align with and adequately support the company's operational electricity demand.

A key challenge in this project was the medium-voltage (MV) interconnection, which required transformer capacity upgrades to connect the solar PV system to the existing electrical network. To ensure uninterrupted operations and maintain power supply reliability, the interconnection work was scheduled during weekends.

HIJAU performed a comprehensive evaluation of the transformer capacity and MV components to enable a safe and reliable interconnection between the solar PV system and the existing electrical network. The interconnection works were scheduled during weekends to minimize downtime, maintain uninterrupted operations, and ensure efficient project execution.

The solar PV installation enables PT Long Rich Indonesia to support its sustainability goals by reducing carbon emissions by up to 45,551 tons, equivalent to the environmental impact of planting approximately 121,469 trees. This initiative demonstrates the company's commitment to advancing its renewable energy transition and adopting more environmentally responsible operations.
