PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia

PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia is a company that manufactures control cable components for motorcycles and cars (automotive) and is part of the Dharma Group. The company has a factory located in the Jababeka Industrial Area, North Cikarang, Bekasi. HIJAU was entrusted with installing a solar PV system at PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia’s factory.

HIJAU and PT Dharma Controlcable began their collaboration on the solar PV installation project in June 2025. The project was completed in November 2025, with an installed capacity of 154 kWp. Through this initiative, PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia demonstrates its commitment to developing its business toward greater sustainability.

The solar PV installation project at PT Dharma Controlcable Indonesia was quite challenging. This project involved an off-grid solar PV system, requiring careful consideration and precise calculations to determine the appropriate capacity so that daily production and operations would not be disrupted.

In HIJAU’s solar PV system, electricity is stored through inverters, which help maintain a stable energy supply. HIJAU ensures that power storage and distribution remain stable, allowing factory operations to continue uninterrupted while supporting the company’s commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable energy use. The off-grid solar PV installation successfully maximized the efficiency and effectiveness of the installed capacity. As a result, production activities remained stable without disruptions to factory productivity, while also contributing to minimizing negative environmental impacts.

The solar PV system installation at PT Dharma Controlcable was successfully completed with a capacity of 154 kWp. Through this initiative, the company reduced carbon emissions by 4,397 tons of CO₂, equivalent to planting 7,035 trees. The implementation of the solar PV system at the factory serves as tangible proof of PT Dharma Controlcable’s commitment to transitioning toward environmentally friendly renewable energy. This sustainable step also strengthens the company’s image in applying ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values in the eyes of business partners and investors.
